Your Itinerary

The city prides itself on being the ‘Venice of America’ with more than 300 miles of navigable waterways. Fort Lauderdale boasts world-class theatres, museums, sightseeing and shopping. The city sits only 24 miles north of Miami, so you can enjoy the sights of South Beach or head further inland to the amazing Everglades and experience the airboat rides skimming the surface of the water.

Wherever your fantastic cruise holiday takes you, you’re sure to enjoy the most fantastic views possible on board the beautifully bright Vision of the Seas. Her light and airy design, enhanced by seemingly miles of huge windows and glass-walled public areas offers a gorgeous vista on the world – in fact, you’d have to search hard to find a space on this ship where there isn’t an amazing ocean view. Vision of the Seas is a little less lively than other, larger ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet which makes it a superb choice for those wanting a more peaceful and romantic cruise.

Colon is the Caribbean entrance to the Panama, where you can marvel on the engineering feats of the Gatun locks, or take a relaxing dip in the un-spoilt Gatun Lake. In nearby Portobello you can discover the ruins of the Spanish forts, watch the colorful yachts sailing in the bay or hunt for treasures in the local markets.

Cartagena is a city of contrasts between the old and new, between poverty and wealth, between legend and reality. The 17th century walled Old Town, and fortress are stunning World Heritage Sites, offering an insight into the old legends of this city. The colourful restored Spanish buildings line the streets of Old Town, with areas of immense poverty and round the corner, areas of extreme wealth. This city is one that will surprise and sadden you, intrigue and amaze you.

Aruba is an island surrounded by beautiful white beaches and glistening waters. The island is alive with Dutch heritage and history. The streets are lined with pastel painted houses in nearby Oranjestad, which also offers boutiques and malls for those wanting to shop. The beaches are stunning and offer amazing diving and snorkelling opportunities. The famous Natural Bridge can be found on the windward side of the island.

Amsterdam’s influence is evident in the architecture of Willemstad. Take a walk across the Queen Emma Bridge to the eastern side of town and you will find the colourful floating market lined with boats from Colombia and Venezuela. On the other side of the bridge is Breederstraat which is one of Willemstads best shopping streets.
